How much do we know about a fighter other than his weight class and his wicked right hook?  By spending the time to learn about each fighter, we as fans realize their humanness.  It makes them that much more enjoyable to watch in the ring, because you’re cheering not just for a fighter but for the person behind the name.  Diego Saraiva has had an interesting path in his MMA career.  From his very first fight until now, there’s been triumph and there’s been loss.  I got the chance to learn a little more about his journey.

DHIEGO LIMA is a monster, he likes to hurt people and has destroyed his opponent in nine straight fights in just two years.

Dhiego Lima has already predicted that he’ll be a world champion by age twenty-six.  So when I got the chance to sit down with him and ask some questions, I was surprised at how laid back he is.  Even more surprising is his favorite hobby, which happens to be flying kites.  That’s right, flying kites.  He builds them, too.  As I spoke to Dhiego, I started to get the feeling that there’s more to this guy than meets the eye.

       This breakout fighter from Atlanta scene is showing the world that he means business and plans on showing WEC featherweights that he's not to be taken lightly. With a huge fight against Urijah Faber behind him, Raphael Assuncao is looking to replace the roar of Arco Arena with the sound of his own success and has no doubt that he will one day soon become the best featherweight in the world.
